How would you describe the modern Episcopal Church - its theology, its worship, its community, its history, its organization, and what you love about it - to a friend who has never experienced it? A deeper dive than a confirmation class, even cradle Episcopalians will learn something new about our church.
INSTRUCTOR: Ed Watson
Ed Watson is a PhD candidate in Yale’s Religious Studies program. His research focuses on how theological formation shapes meaning, most specifically in terms of whether Christian grace-talk has shaped the conditions of possibility for conceiving racial difference. He is also an ardent Liverpool fan.
This course can be taken alone, BUT IS REQUIRED FOR:
